Underwriting Executive United Insurance Company Of Vietnam

Collect appropriate and accurate information required to assess potential clients and decide on the acceptable risk for a policy.
Write quotes, determine premiums and coverage, and negotiate terms with brokers and clients.
Evaluate policies with regards to the company’s underwriting guideline/standard.
Conduct internal and external training.
Prepare reports that detail risk assessment that contribute to the final decision.
Make a decision to accept, modify or reject an insurance application after scrutiny of all the required documents and studies regarding the risk involved.
Select the wording of policies, and prepare the terms and conditions.
Analyze statistical data and handle the assigned reports within deadlines.
Review policy applications/quotations based on the previous loss records, age, medical report and other underwriting factors.

Certificate/Working Experience
- University graduation: major in Insurance/Finance/Economic
- Working experience: Having relevant working experience in non- life insurance will be preferred.
Skill/Knowledge
- Characteristic: proactive & hardworking, detailed oriented & result driven
- Knowledge about insurance, especially ppersonal, Motor and Affinity Insurance (preferable)
- Ability to work independently and as part of team
- Hand- on Microsoft Applications i.e. Word, Excel, Power Point
- Good command of both English writing and speaking
- Customer focus and good sense of urgency
