Transport & Capacity Assistant (6-Month contract)

Main purpose:
The capacity specialist is a senior- level associate forming part of both the planning and execution teams responsible for transportation planning and operations. Within the team, the capacity specialist will perform execution- level service- provider relationship management, ad- hoc provider selection, loss recovery, and other transportation cost/service- based optimization activities for Nestle as they pertain to the selection and management of provider capacity.
Key Outputs:
- Execute transport strategies based on cost and service while ensuring carriers are assigned to move all planned loads with the most efficient cost.
- Undertake role of being operational point of contact for all supply DRP and delivery to HCM area.
- Identify and escalate gaps in transport mode coverage with respect to factors like service, cost, and performance.

- Truck Utilization KPI for supply DRP % contribution of transport modes DRP
