Job Purpose:
The Trade Marketing Specialist is responsible for the disciplined execution of trade marketing, visual merchandising, and planogram initiatives across branded retail stores, in full alignment with regional principal strategies and guidelines. This role serves as a key execution interface between local markets and principal teams, ensuring consistent brand standards, timely implementation, and measurable in- store performance across both the South and North regions.
Key Responsibilities :
Trade Marketing & In- Store Execution:
+ Support commercial objectives through disciplined and timely in- store execution
+ Ensure consistent brand presentation, execution quality, and retail standards across all branded retail stores
+ Execute trade marketing initiatives in strict compliance with principal guidelines and approved frameworks
Visual Merchandising & Planogram Governance
+ Ensure all VM and planogram setups are fully aligned, approved, and implemented prior to new store openings
+ Execute and maintain planograms strictly in accordance with principal guidelines
+ Implement Visual Merchandising (VM) initiatives based on principal direction and approvals
+ Conduct regular store audits to monitor compliance and execution consistency
- Showcase & Assortment Prioritization:
+ Ensure showcase and display prioritization supports regional strategies and local commercial objectives + Coordinate closely with Merchandising and Operations teams to align display decisions with inventory levels and sell- through performance
+ Manage showcase displays by removing and replacing novelty items based on inventory availability, stock performance, and agreed priorities
- Store Capability, Training & Leadership:
+ Build store- level execution capability through strong leadership and continuous coaching
+ Deliver structured training and on- the- job coaching on VM standards, planogram execution, and showcase management
+ Engage directly with Store Heads and store teams to drive execution excellence
- Stakeholder & Principal Coordination:
+ Coordinate closely with principal teams to align local VM and planogram execution with regional strategies and standards
+ Ensure all VM, planogram, and display initiatives receive principal alignment and approval prior to in- store execution
+ Work directly with internal local teams, particularly Marketing, Merchandising, and Operations, to ensure full alignment on execution plans and timelines
- Reporting & Performance Monitoring:
+ Act as a reliable source of in- market execution visibility for regional stakeholders
+ Prepare and submit execution and compliance reports in accordance with principal requirements on a weekly, bi- weekly, and monthly basis
+ Provide structured execution feedback, insights, and recommended improvement actions to principals and the Trade Marketing Director
- Regional Coverage:
+ Ensure consistent execution standards and reporting across all regions
+ Cover both the South and North regions, including frequent store visits
