Responsibilities- Work closely with Product Owners and developers to reproduce issues, understand implications, and suggest potential fixes.
- Develop comprehensive test plans, that cover functional, regression, integration, and edge- case scenarios.
- Clearly document bugs with detailed descriptions, steps to reproduce, and supporting evidence (screenshots, logs).
- Investigate and troubleshoot user- reported issues, offering workarounds or escalating to development teams as needed.
- Analyze user stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria to grasp the application&039;s intended functionality and business logic.
- Thoroughly test from the end- user perspective, prioritizing usability, accessibility, and cross- device compatibility.
- Provide clear status updates, testing reports, and participate in team discussions to ensure everyone is informed.
- Working hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Monday through Saturday), with Sundays off.
Qualifications- Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating closely with development teams.- Demonstrated ability to mentor and guide junior QC engineers.- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Bachelor&039;s degree in Software Development, or a related field (or equivalent experience).- 2+ years of experience in software testing with a track record of ensuring quality in complex applications.- Strong expertise in designing and executing comprehensive test plans (functional, integration, regression, etc.).- Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, etc.).- In- depth understanding of APIs and experience in API testing using tools like Postman or similar.
- Proven ability to analyze requirements, identify potential defects, and prioritize testing efforts effectively.
