Technical Writer (Software Documentation)

Job brief
We are looking for a Technical Writer to produce high- quality documentation that contributes to the overall success of our products. You will be working collaboratively with developers, quality engineers and product managers to make our products easier to use and understand. You will need a strong technical background to be able to understand complex technical architecture and process to turn it into something more easily digestible by end users
Responsibilities

Write easy- to- understand user and administrator guides for external customers
Produce high- quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience
Review and maintain documentation to keep it up to date with feature releases and current product offerings
Work with internal teams to obtain an in- depth understanding of the product and the documentation requirements
Create, manage and maintain documentation including versioning

Requirements and skills

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Portfolio and examples of your written content is ideal
Familiarity with the SDLC and software development
Ability to deliver high quality documentation paying attention to detail
Proven working experience in technical writing of software documentation (2- 5 years of experience)
Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and pictures
Excellent written skills in English
