Technical Product Owner (Web, Apps) Agri-Tech, Fresh Produce Supply Chain - Hcmc

Responsibilities: We are looking for a Technical Product Owner with strong Quality Control (QC) experience to bridge the gap between business users and the development team.You will be responsible for gathering requirements from operations and quality teams, converting them into clear technical specifications and user stories, and ensuring the resulting software features meet real- world operational needs. You will also define test cases, perform testing, and validate product releases before deployment.This role is ideal for someone who understands how fresh- produce quality systems work (e.g., traceability, inspection records, supplier QC, etc.) and can translate that knowledge into actionable digital features. Product Ownership & Requirement TranslationWork closely with QC, sourcing, and production teams to understand their workflows, pain points, and data needs.Translate business requirements into detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical specifications.Maintain and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring alignment with company goals and operational priorities.Collaborate with designers and developers to ensure features are practical, scalable, and meet user expectations. Quality Assurance & TestingWrite clear and comprehensive test cases based on user stories and acceptance criteria.Conduct manual and functional testing on web and mobile applications before release.Coordinate with developers to track, document, and verify bug fixes.Perform UAT (User Acceptance Testing) with operations and QC teams to ensure usability and accuracy.Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and traceability across modules (e.g., supplier records, QC reports, farm diaries). Technical & Process DocumentationCreate and maintain documentation of workflows, system features, and data structures.Develop training guides and materials for internal users.Support the rollout of new features, including onboarding and feedback collection. Continuous ImprovementGather post- release feedback and identify improvement opportunities.Work with cross- functional teams to optimize workflows and digital adoption.Propose process automation or system enhancements that improve traceability and reduce manual work.

Experience using tools such as Jira, Trello, Notion, or ClickUp for backlog and sprint management.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Food Technology, or related field.
3+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or QA Engineer (preferably in agritech, manufacturing, or food supply chain).
Good communication in both English and Vietnamese.
Familiarity with SQL or data analytics is a plus.
Detail- oriented and comfortable testing digital tools in real- world operational settings (factory, farm, or warehouse).
Strong analytical, documentation, and problem- solving skills.
Must have: Hands- on experience writing user stories, test cases, and acceptance criteria.
Nice to have: understanding of factory QC workflows, HACCP principles, and product traceability systems.
