Position Overview

Lead the technical architecture and development of the Magenta Design System, a React- based component library serving multiple teams.

Guide React component development using TypeScript and Panda CSS
Oversee testing strategy (unit, integration, accessibility)
Design and maintain monorepo architecture with clear dependency management
Ensure accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA) and atomic design principles
Define technical standards for component creation, styling, and testing

Coordinate breaking changes and provide migration guides
Identify, prioritize, and manage technical debt
Plan technical roadmaps and manage release schedules
Communicate changes to stakeholder teams

Balance technical debt with feature development priorities
Establish documentation standards for Storybook and APIs
Mentor developers and lead code reviews

Yêu cầu công việcTechnical (Must Have)

3- 5 years leading frontend teams or design system projects
Experience with CSS- in- JS, testing frameworks, and monorepo tools
Understanding of component architecture and design tokens
Web standards expertise (HTML5, CSS3, ES6+, browser APIs)
Expert React, TypeScript, and Node.js ecosystem knowledge

Proven mentoring and cross- functional collaboration experience
Release planning and multi- team coordination experience (advocates)

CI/CD pipelines, performance optimization knowledge
Strong English communication for stakeholder management
Storybook, Figma integration, cloud deployment experience
Open- source project maintenance background
