As a Tax Accountant at Outcubator you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with tax regulations, optimizing tax strategies, and contributing to the financial health of our company. You will be responsible for managing various tax- related tasks, reporting, and collaborating with cross- functional teams to support our business operations in Vietnam.
Key Responsibilities:
Tax Compliance:
Monitor and manage tax deadlines, payments, and correspondence with tax authorities.
Prepare and file accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns, including VAT, corporate income tax, and other applicable taxes.
Stay up- to- date with Vietnam&039;s tax laws and regulations, and ensure the company&039;s compliance with them.
Tax Planning and Optimization:
Analyze the impact of tax law changes on the company and adapt tax strategies accordingly.
Identify opportunities for tax incentives and credits, and work on applications when applicable.
Collaborate with finance and legal teams to develop and implement effective tax strategies that minimize the company&039;s tax liability.
Financial Reporting:
Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure the proper recording of tax- related transactions in the company&039;s books.
Prepare financial statements and reports that reflect accurate tax provisions and liabilities.
Audit Support:
Maintain organized records and documentation to support the company&039;s tax positions.
Assist in tax audits and investigations, including gathering and providing requested documentation and explanations to tax authorities.
Cross- Functional Collaboration:
Collaborate with various departments, such as legal, finance, and operations, to ensure tax considerations are integrated into business decisions.
Provide tax- related guidance to other teams and support their initiatives.
Tax Research:
Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their potential impact on the company.
Conduct research on complex tax issues and provide recommendations to management.
