System Operations Engineer

Monitor and maintaining system hardware and networks;
Build and maintaining stable operation for server system;
Ensure the system and server operating smoothly;
Plan, design, install, configure, troubleshoot, and manage our VMWare / cloud- based Linux servers;
Consult technical solution/ system architect on Linux OS;
Ensure safety and security for system and network;
Perform others technical assigned task.

Ability to troubleshoot common Linux application errors;
Have sense of application/server monitoring and responsibility for any kind of system incident;
Teamwork spirit.
Problem solving skills;
Experience with virtualization platforms VMWare;
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or comparable practice/experience;
Ability to learn new technology to adapt to day- to- day change of business requirement;
Understand the process of build/deploy/manage/monitor various server softwares for web technology: Oracle, Nginx, Haproxy, PHP, Java, Redis/memcached, MySQL/Postgres, RabbitMQ;
Have good Linux knowledge and experience managing large number of linux servers, applications;
Have experience working on public cloud services such as Amazon Web Service, Google Cloud is a big plus;
Experience deploying production;
Have basic TCP/IP background, especially on Linux environment;
Know at least one scripting language: Bash/Python;
