System Engineer

Design & Implementation

- Deploy storage systems (SAN, NAS), backup, and disaster recovery solutions.
- Analyze requirements and design server infrastructure (physical, virtual, cloud).
- Build High Availability, Load Balancing, and Clustering solutions.
- Deploy and configure OpenStack- based private cloud environments.
- Install and configure operating systems (Windows Server, Linux), virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper- V, Proxmox).

Operations & Maintenance

- Manage virtualization resources and optimize system performance.
- Apply OS, application, and security patches regularly.
- Monitor system performance: CPU, RAM, storage usage.
- Troubleshoot server and service issues (AD, DNS, DHCP, Mail, etc.).

Security & Compliance

- Manage access control, user permissions, and host- based firewall configurations.
- Collaborate with SOC/IT Security teams to detect and respond to incidents.
- Ensure systems follow security standards (ISO 27001, CIS Benchmark).

Documentation & Support

- Provide technical support for departments and end users related to server systems.
- Create and maintain configuration documentation and SOPs.
- Participate in training and knowledge transfer.

Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent.

Education

1–3 years of experience in system administration (Windows/Linux Server, VMware/Hyper- V). Experience in virtualization, storage, HA/DR is a plus.

Experience

Certifications (Preferred)

- Hands- on experience with deploying and managing OpenStack private cloud environments.
- Proficient in Windows Server, Linux (CentOS/Ubuntu).
- Experience with VMware vSphere, Hyper- V, or cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
- Basic knowledge of Backup, Replication, DR.
- Knowledge of AD, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, Mail servers.

MCSA/MCSE, VCP (VMware), RHCSA/RHCE, Azure/AWS SysOps Admin, OpenStack Certification (COA).

Working from Monday to Friday, with alternate Saturday mornings off.

Salary negotiable based on candidate’s ability (15–20 million VND). Annual salary review.
