Sr/Lead Game Serve Developer NodeJS/Java/AWS/Docker

Job Responsibilities

Develop and manage real- time networking protocols to support seamless, low- latency gameplay experiences (WebSocket, TCP/UDP).
Collaborate closely with game designers and client developers to ensure smooth integration of backend systems with the game client.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior backend developers, driving best practices and innovation across the team.
Utilize containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes to ensure efficient deployment and scaling of backend services.
Design, implement, and maintain scalable and efficient server- side systems for multiplayer online games.
Oversee the deployment and optimization of backend services on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) to handle large volumes of concurrent players.
Manage and optimize game data storage solutions using MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, ensuring high availability and performance.
Ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of game backend infrastructure, implementing best practices in load balancing and distributed systems.

Experience with Node.js, Java, Go, or C++ for game server development.
Experience with databases (MySQL, MongoDB, Redis) for game state management.
Strong expertise in real- time networking protocols (WebSocket, TCP/UDP).
5+ years of experience in server- side development, with at least 2+ years in multiplayer online games.
Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
Strong understanding of scalability, load balancing, and distributed systems.

Experience with game- specific technologies such as game physics, matchmaking, or leaderboards.
Passion for gaming and understanding of player- centric backend architecture.
Experience in performance profiling and optimization in large- scale environments.
Knowledge of microservices architecture and serverless computing.
Familiarity with Cocos Creator networking integration and multiplayer game flow.
