Key Duties and Responsibilities – Spa Manager
Operational Management
Oversee the daily operations of the spa, including treatments, reception, retail, and facilities.
Monitor spa ambiance, cleanliness, and maintenance of all equipment and treatment rooms.
Ensure all services are delivered in line with brand standards, providing a consistent and memorable guest experience.
Guest Experience
Develop personalized service standards and wellness programs to enhance guest satisfaction.
Deliver exceptional guest service by anticipating guest needs and handling feedback or complaints professionally.
Monitor guest feedback and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Financial Performance
Drive revenue through upselling, cross- selling, memberships, and retail sales.
Prepare and manage the spa’s budget, including revenue forecasts and expense control.
Monitor stock levels, retail inventory, and minimize wastage.
Team Leadership & Training
Conduct regular performance reviews and organize skills development workshops.
Recruit, train, and supervise spa therapists, receptionists, and attendants.
Motivate and coach the team to achieve sales targets, service standards, and professional growth.
Sales, Marketing & Promotion
Represent the spa at promotional events and networking opportunities.
Build relationships with in- house guests, local communities, and wellness influencers to drive business.
Work closely with the Sales & Marketing team to create attractive spa promotions, seasonal offers, and packages.
Health, Safety & Compliance
Ensure compliance with hygiene, health, and safety regulations.
Implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for treatments, sanitation, and guest care.
Regularly inspect spa facilities to maintain operational excellence and safety.
Strategic Development
Contribute to the resort’s overall positioning as a wellness destination.
Research wellness and spa industry trends to update treatment menus and services.
Introduce innovative therapies, techniques, and wellness concepts to stay competitive.
