As a Software Engineer in Ampotech Vietnam, you will support the product team with the development of the AmpoCloud IoT platform, including applications for energy efficiency, renewable energy, and sustainability reporting. The ideal candidate will be proficient in front- end and back- end development and will have experience working with teams to deliver and maintain enterprise- level software.
Responsibilities:
• Front end development to modify layout and data visualization based on customer requirements and feedback.
• Work with the Vietnam team and software engineering team in Singapore office to adapt software for the Vietnamese market.
• Develop and enhance Ampotech’s IoT platform using AWS/Azure cloud components.
• Support current IoT infrastructure and projects.
Qualifications:
• Familiarity with Linux, computer networks, databases, and cybersecurity;
• Bachelor&039;s degree in computer science/engineering/data science or a related field;
• Experience with IoT applications, including data processing, device management, and data management
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in developing web applications;
• Excellent communication skills and a team player;
• Proficiency in Java, Python and/or other programming languages;
• Knowledge of common IoT protocols such as MQTT, Modbus, LoRa, and BACnet is a plus;
• Familiarity with sensors, meters, BMS systems, and SCADA systems is a plus;
• Ability to work independently, proactively, and result- driven.
