Position: Software Automation QA Engineer
Level: Middle- Senior
Working model: Hybrid- Onsite (Cau Giay, Ha Noi)
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The primary responsibility of this position is to provide QA Automation for Software QA and Software Development. The product line includes Web applications, Mobile applications, and Hardware device control, specifically for Warehouse Control Systems. Automation testing plays a crucial role in the software development lifecycle.
Prepare test reports.
Write, revise, and verify quality standards and test procedures.
Address automation needs and performance testing strategies based on requirements and identified risk areas.
Write automation scripts for both Fortna products and projects.
Develop test plans, test scenarios, and test cases.
Mentor other QA Engineers on test automation best practices.
Collaborate closely with QA Leads to define automation test strategies.
Provide Software QA automation for functional, regression, system, and performance testing.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Must have:
5+ years of experience in a combination of Software Quality Assurance, Software Development, or QA Automation Engineering roles, with at least 2 years as a Software QA Automation Engineer.
Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking.
Expertise in the Test Automation tool Serenity is a plus.
Experience using a scripting language such as Bash, Perl, or Python.
Strong Unix/Linux experience.
Experience working with CI tools such as Jenkins.
Experience in Warehouse and Supply Chain services.
Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
Experience working with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
Proficiency in automation test design methods: keyword- driven, data- driven, or hybrid.
Ability to work in a high- paced, highly dynamic environment.
Experience developing test plans and preparing test reports.
Some experience coding in C/C++ and/or Java.
Strong interpersonal, organizational, time management, analytical, and problem- solving skills.
Strong Oracle/SQL experience and ability to write SQL queries.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent discipline.
Desire to pick up and learn new technical skills.
Nice to have:
Knowledge and direct experience with agile testing methodologies.
Experience in Supply Chain services.
Experience troubleshooting from system log files.
Experience leading QA automation efforts.
