Service Engineer Spinning & Weaving Machinery (Speaking Chinese is A Strong Plus)

* Job Summary
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring reliable machine operation, customer satisfaction, and continuous technical support for Vandewiele’s customers in Vietnam’s textile industry. Candidates should have a strong mechanical and/or electrical background, hands- on experience in textile machinery, and good communication skills in English (Chinese proficiency is a plus).
This position may focus on either spinning solutions (Savio, Loepfe, Mesdan) or weaving equipment (IRO, ROJ, Bonas Jacquard, loom control systems), depending on the candidate’s technical background and experience.
Vandewiele Vietnam is seeking a dedicated and technically skilled Service Engineer to provide installation, commissioning, maintenance, and after- sales support for our textile machinery portfolio.
* Key Responsibilities
• Participate in trade fairs, customer demonstrations, and technical training programs when required.
• Prepare and submit service and installation reports, weekly activity summaries, and customer visit records as required.
• Perform other tasks assigned by the Technical Service Manager.
• Coordinate with global service teams and technical experts from Vandewiele Group for updates, spare parts support, and complex problem resolution.
• Promote and advise customers on genuine spare parts and technical upgrades.
• Perform installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance for spinning or weaving machinery.
• Conduct on- site operator training and provide technical guidance to customers to ensure optimal machine performance and product quality.
• Collect and provide feedback on product quality issues, customer experience, and competitor activities to the management team.
• Handle customer service requests, complaints, and after- sales technical support, ensuring timely follow- up and reporting.
