SENIOR TECHNICAL PURCHASER

JOB PURPOSE:

Mainly perform overseas and local Purchasing functions on production parts, machines, equipment, projects, and services.
On time best quality delivered with lowest costs.
To negotiate the best possible term annual contract.​
Saving by purchasing activities does add value to the company by economical purchasing practices.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Develop new suppliers.
Support department in search of new potential suppliers.
Make cost comparisons and Sourcing Recommendations after negotiation.
Sustain appliance of Purchasing Process.
Maintain and update existing Contracts and add regularly purchased items.
Negotiate new Contracts, terms, condition
Check purchasing conditions quoted prices.
Cross check Purchase Requisitions and issue Purchase Order.
Cross- check and support departments to specify demands.
Negotiate daily demands and quoted prices.
Ensure appliance of the Purchasing Process in daily contract and work with the departments.
Sourcing activities for Direct and Indirect materials to ensure uninterrupted operations within the business continuity plan.
Develop own strategies for bundling demands and negotiating Contracts.

Good at technical drawing reading skill, Excel and price/term negotiation.
Good speaking and written skills in English.
Strong technical sourcing (Mold/Jig/ Spare part/ Quality Equipment).
Consistent, detail- oriented, analytical.
Bachelor or above Business/Economic/Technical degree.
At least 5 years of experience purchasing position (For manufacturing is preferred).
