Given the growth of our enterprise both organic and through acquisitions, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Asset Management Specialist to join our Information Systems Commercial Operation team and work closely with SAM (Software Asset Management) Team. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders across various teams and departments to manage the Software and Software Services lifecycle.
As Software Asset Management Specialist, you will work proactively to:
Maintain Software and Services and be the commercial contact to vendors.
Engage vendors to procure Software and Software services,
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their SW and SW service needs,
Manage Renewals / Addon requests and Retirement of solutions.
Ensure Vendors Software and Services are in compliance with Renesas policy and procedures.
Monitor performance and optimize utilization.

Key Responsibilities:
Compliance Assurance: Ensure all software and services comply with company policies, licensing agreements, and regulatory standards.
Deployment Coordination: Work with relevant teams to support the deployment and integration of software solutions.
Performance Monitoring: Track software usage and performance to identify optimization opportunities and ensure efficient utilization.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with internal teams to understand software and software service requirements across the enterprise.
Budget Control: Manage software- related budgets, ensure cost- effective procurement, track expenditures, and identify opportunities for cost saving.
Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and enhance SAM processes to support scalability and integration across entities.
Renewals & Retirement Management: Oversee software renewals, add- on requests, and the decommissioning of outdated or unused solutions.
Lifecycle Maintenance: Act as the primary commercial contact for vendors, managing ongoing support, updates, and issue resolution.
Vendor Engagement: Lead procurement activities by liaising with vendors to acquire software and services aligned with business needs.
Key Performance Measures
New / Add- on / Renewal of Software and Software services agreements completed on time.
Vendor Onboarding process and required compliance controls done on time.
Plan and deliver monthly procurement plan for Software and Software services.
Build Dashboard and reports for Software Asset and Services
Maintain Vendor, Software and Software Services data accurately and regularly.
Quarterly License and service performance reporting with suggestions for improvement
