Senior Security Network Engineer

JOB SUMMARY
• Working within a multinational corporation (MNC) and manufacturing factory environment, you will collaborate closely with Cyber Security, Cloud, and Application teams to ensure seamless integration of data/ protocol sources and automation workflows. This role requires a proactive professional capable of balancing high- availability networking requirements with stringent security protocols to ensure that all IT controls are effective and efficient, strictly adhering to cybersecurity management frameworks.
• Responsible for participation in designing, implementing, and maintaining a secure and resilient network landscape across both Cloud and On- premises environments.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITIES
The role focuses on the convergence of traditional networking and modern security measures. You will be responsible for:
• Infrastructure Security: Implementing and enhancing security controls for wired, wireless, IT, OT, IIoT and CCTV systems to comply with InfoSec regulatory requirements.
• Vulnerability & Patch Management: Supporting IT patch management with a dedicated focus on security- related updates and reviewing system configurations against Global/Regional baselines to remediate gaps.
• Continuous Monitoring: Managing the operational health and vendor service levels for a comprehensive security stack, including NGFW, WAF, DLP, AV, PIM/PAM, and RADIUS…
• Incident Response & Automation: Overseeing the end- to- end lifecycle of security incident response routines, from participation in deployment and testing to monitoring and documentation.
• Detection Engineering: Driving continuous improvement in detection practices to ensure
a high- fidelity alerts while reducing false positives.
• Operational Excellence: Performing periodic network assessments and security audits, while providing detailed reporting and metrics on IT security risks to stakeholders.

Education : Bachelor&039;s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent with significant demonstrable experience in Information Security
Experience: 3–5 years of relevant experience in Information Security (Technical), with a preferred background in Cloud and Infrastructure. Priority given to candidates with experience and background in manufacturing environments or multinational corporations.
Functional Skills:
Networking: VLAN (802.1Q), VXLAN, STP/MSTP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, DMVPN, MPLS, SD- WAN, SDN, DNS/DHCP, LDAP, Wireless Controller + 802.1X.
• OT/IIoT Focus: CCTV, Industrial IoT, AMR, manufacturing network segmentation.
• Security stack: WAF, DLP, AV, NGFW, IAM/PIM/PAM, RADIUS.
• Operational Skills: Patch & vulnerability management, incident response lifecycle, detection engineering (reduce false positives), periodic audits & reporting.
• Tools: Visio/Draw.io… for network diagrams.
• Certifications:  Microsoft Cybersecurity Architect (SC- 100)/Azure Security Engineer (AZ- 500).  CompTIA Security+, CISA, or CISM/SSCP/CISSP are highly advantageous.
 CCNA/CCNP/ Fortinet NSE levels.
