WHY THIS ROLE?KONE is seeking an experienced and reliable Senior Safety Specialist who will ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards by implementing the KONE Management System and local regulations. The role focuses on driving continuous improvement through data analysis, inspections, and testing, while promoting a strong safety and quality culture through training and best practices. Supporting the SQE Manager, this position contributes to a safe, sustainable work environment and high- quality standards.
WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
Support safety- related change management initiatives.
Investigate non- conformances, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
Coordinate preventive and corrective actions for site and product- related quality issues.
Plan and execute projects and activities aimed at improving safety performance.
Communicate safety information proactively, including investigation results and best practices
Actively participate in safety committees and forums, contributing to safety initiatives.
Share knowledge and train the organization on quality methodologies, tools, and procedures.
Support the implementation of the KONE Management System within the unit.
Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with standards.
Investigate incidents, analyze root causes, and manage corrective and preventive actions.
Provide expert advice and guidance on safety- related matters to the unit.
Monitor and enhance safety risk management processes, tools, and practices.
Collaborate closely with customers, partners, and subcontractors to uphold safety standards.
Support the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of KONE’s Safety Management System, ensuring worker, user, and third- party safety.
Drive quality improvements through data analysis and continuous improvement methodologies.
Implement environmental policies to minimize operational impact on the environment.
Monitor and measure performance against established safety, quality, and environmental metrics.
Collect, validate, and report leading and lagging safety indicators.
Conduct regular safety audits to ensure compliance and identify risks or deviations.
Facilitate safety training and competency development within the unit.
Stay updated on legal and business developments in safety; propose necessary actions.
