JOB OVERVIEW
As a Senior Event Planner, you will be responsible for leading projects from ideation to execution, ensuring alignment with client goals and company standards. You will also play a key role in mentoring and training junior planners, helping to develop the event planning team. The ideal candidate is strategic, creative, a strong leader, and a problem solver, who thrives in a fast- paced event environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop and present event proposals, including strategy, concepts, and execution plans.
• Oversee on- site execution, ensuring high- quality delivery and handling real- time challenges.
• Collaborate closely with clients, internal teams (creative, production, operations), and external partners to ensure seamless event execution.
• Manage budgets, timelines, and resources, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.
• Lead the planning and execution of large- scale events, from conceptualization to post- event evaluation.
• Conduct market research, audience analysis, and competitor benchmarking to enhance event concepts.
• Continuously improve event planning processes and contribute to team development.
• Foster a strong team culture, building an efficient and cohesive planning team.
• Mentor and train junior planners, ensuring they understand project scopes, client expectations, and execution requirements.
REQUIREMENTS
• Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and event planning tools.
• Ability to handle high- pressure deadlines.
• Proven track record in leading projects and mentoring team members.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills (both internal and client- facing).
• At least 3 years of experience in event planning, preferably in an agency environment.
• Strong understanding of event planning, activations, marketing strategies, and audience engagement.
• Detail- oriented, creative, and strong problem- solving skills.
• Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
