Senior Packaging Engineer (Solution Designer)

The engineer or designer is responsible to design packaging solutions in line with the customer’s needs. They work in line with local needs and the Nefab Engineering Directive.
THE ENGINEERING DIRECTIVE
- Follow ISO 9001 and 14001 Policies and Procedures
- Follow the available training
- Make designs according to the drawing manual and sustainability guidelines
- Work according to the engineering process and our tools
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with packaging evaluations and designs of other engineers or designers
- Assist in understanding material specifications and possible replacement materials as needed
- Support other departments
- Assist with providing packaging technical expertise
- Assess structural requirements, method of transport, long term storage and other specifications
- Support in creating artwork for our products
- Design packaging solutions while utilizing Nefab products and/or sourced materials
- Assist Sr. Engineers perform special engineering project assignments
- Create CAD drawings, assembly instructions and material lists
- Assist with the gathering of sufficient information to enable drawings
