Senior Legal Associate

As a Senior Legal Associate, you will be reporting to the Legal Counsel in Hong Kong while working closely with the Managing Director in Vietnam. Your main responsibility will be to provide legal support and guidance to the company, ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations. We are looking for a highly skilled individual with a strong legal background and excellent attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast- paced environment and the ability to effectively communicate complex legal concepts to non- legal personnel. You should be proactive, meticulous, and have a strong commitment to delivering high- quality work.

What you&039;ll do

Represent the company at court hearings with external lawyers
Draft, review and translate agreements and legal documents, and identify any potential risks and issues
Perform administration in legal document and contracts
Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations
Conduct legal research and report findings or changes that may affect the company’s operation and compliance
Liaise with all business units on relevant regulators, including licensing, registrations, notifications, etc.
Review and provide legal advice to support proper business process

Capable of working autonomously as well as collaboratively in a team setting.
Holding a Bachelor of Law degree and a Law Practitioner certificate is advantageous.
Possess a Law degree from an accredited institution.
Have a minimum of 3 years of practical experience in legal fields, ideally gained from a reputable law firm or in- house legal department.
Display meticulous attention to detail and a strong understanding of legal risks.
Fluent in written and spoken English and Vietnamese, with the ability to communicate effectively.
Proficient in managing corporate secretarial matters, legal affairs, and conducting contract reviews.
