Ninety Eight is looking for an IT Business Analyst who will be the vital link between our information technology capacity and our business objectives by supporting and ensuring the successful completion of analytical, building, testing and deployment tasks of our software product’s features.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Continuously identify opportunities to improve product quality, team efficiency, and user value.
Support UAT by defining test scenarios and validating feature performance against requirements.
Translate business needs into clear documentation including user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specs.
Act as the bridge between business and tech teams to ensure shared understanding and priorities.
Analyze product features and workflows to ensure feasibility, usability, and alignment with business goals.
Collaborate closely with Product Managers and development teams to gather and refine business requirements.
Conduct impact assessments and propose solutions based on data and user insights.
QUALIFICATIONS
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), agile methodologies, and QA best practices.
Familiarity with integration projects, APIs, and third- party platforms is a plus.
5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, or similar role in a tech or product- driven environment.
Proven track record in eliciting, analyzing, and translating business requirements into actionable plans.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills — able to lead workshops and facilitate alignment across teams.
Experience in process modeling (e.g., BPMN), user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria.
Solid experience with data analysis, including working knowledge of SQL and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker).
