Senior Footwear / Socks Merchandiser

Position Title: Senior Footwear / Socks Merchandiser( Mandarin and English required)
Reports To: Footwear Account Manager
Role Purpose
Senior Footwear/Socks Merchandiser- will be responsible for driving sales growth of yarn/fabrics products, specifically targeting the footwear industry. The role requires strong knowledge of shoes manufacturing, deep relationships with brand sourcing offices and manufacturers, and the ability to bridge technical product capabilities with customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
• Develop and execute sales strategies for yarn/fabrics products in the footwear/socks market.
• Identify, target, and convert new business opportunities with footwear/sock’s brands and their vendors.
• Lead sales negotiations, pricing discussions, coordinate well with manufacturer and contract agreements.
• Manage a portfolio of key accounts, ensuring strong relation with customers.
Product Development
• Analysis and generate all kinds of reports of sales, costing, production and other ad- hoc reports to assist Account Manager/Company for business purposes.
• Monitor footwear/socks industry trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities.
• Support product trials, sampling with customers.
• Provide feedback to R&D and product development teams on yarn/fabrics performance, sustainability, and innovation opportunities.
• Promote yarn/fabric products to brands and manufacturers to drive sales and ensure the supply of yarn/fabrics for footwear/socks production.
Customer Relationship Management
• Conduct customer visits, business reviews, and performance updates.
• Build and maintain long- term partnerships with footwear/socks brands sourcing teams and manufacturing partners.
• Act as the primary contact point for technical and commercial discussions.
