The Senior Business Planning Marketing Specialist is a critical analytical role responsible for transforming raw sales and marketing data into strategic, actionable insights. This position moves beyond standard reporting to deliver robust forecasting models, scenario planning, and deep performance analysis. You will be the data- driven backbone of the marketing department, analyzing Salesforce data to predict sales outlook, identify performance drivers, and provide the Board of Directors with the critical data needed for strategic decision- making.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES
Managing and Planning Sales Performance (50%)
• Go beyond what happened to explain why it happened, providing root cause analysis for performance deviations.
• Supporting for 6- month plan (Replan), 1- year plan (Operation Plan), 3- year plan (MRM), etc.
• Managing Market survey Data
• Making Monthly / Quarterly / Yearly sales performance reports (including BOD review package, Regional Headquarter review packages, etc).
• Calculating Direct sales incentive
• Analysing Salesforce data (e.g., pipeline velocity, conversion rates, deal stages) to identify trends and provide early warnings or opportunities.
• Managing monthly forecast of direct sales performance by business line / team, by product
• Supporting Business Planning Manager or other departments for Regional report and business analysis (Regional Headquarter promotions, Sales promotions, new product launch, market review, etc)
Data Integrity & Collaboration (10%):
• Collaborate closely with the Sales team to audit and confirm final monthly sales figures, ensuring data alignment across all systems.
• Act as the primary owner of marketing data structure and integrity, query, clean, and structure data from multiple sources using SQL and Excel.
Business Intelligence (BI) (10%):
• Proactively identify gaps in data and propose improvements to data collection and structure.
• Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards in Power BI to visualize performance trends for the marketing team and executive leadership.
Managing Sales- Force data system (30%)
• Testing, training and informing to sales if any new functions applied
• Supporting Sales training if have any requests from BOD
• Supporting Sales- force report to Finance team and managers if required
• Supporting data mass upload for territory management
• Managing Sales- force license
• Checking & informing any errors to Regional&039;s Sales- force team
• Creating new account/ Terminating account for new sales/resigned sales
