Role Description
This is a full- time hybrid role for a Senior Business Development Executive, located in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam with some work- from- home flexibility. The Senior Business Development Executive will be responsible for lead generation, new business development, and account management. This individual will work closely with the creative teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities, communicate effectively with clients, and manage accounts to ensure client satisfaction and successful project outcomes.
Duties and Responsibilities
Support/ Work under supervising of Line Manager in key responsibilities below:
Client Engagement & Management:
Engage with client’s industries to collect observations and take out relevant insights whereas possible.
Build and nurture relationships with potential clients, understanding their business needs and how our agency can provide solutions.
Communicate with clients to understand client’s expectations.
Identify & analyze agency’s business opportunities. Discuss and share initial suggestions to senior level of the potential way to approach new clients
Pitch Management & Proposal Development:
Coordinate with internal teams (Planning, Creative, etc.) to develop compelling proposals and presentations for new business pitches.
Craft and present persuasive proposals, outlining our services, strategies and value proposition.
Quality assurance:
Check works in progress to make sure things are on track & deadlines are met.
Review/Check works from the creative team, making sure deliverables are on the same page with expectations.
Keep track of new trends on social media to update & inspire the creative team.
Prepare presentations and host meetings with internal & external teams.
Ensure necessary internal alignments with higher seniors are made before every creative, cost and timeline presentation to clients.
Manage project pitching fee, time- line, human resources and releases to vendors on time to ensure a safe & smooth pitching process.
Market Analysis:
Stay up- to- date on industry trends, competitor activities, and market shifts to identify new opportunities.
Collaboration:
Work closely with the Business Development team and other departments to ensure a seamless transition of new clients from Business Development team to the Account Management team.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor degree in Marketing/ Advertising/ Digital/ Communication or related fields
Work experience:
Have experience in the same position at least 2 years in a business development or account management role in digital/ creative agency
Functional skills:
Excellent negotiation and relationship- building skills.
Detail oriented in pitching management and paper- works
Project/ pitch management skill: timeline, budget, quality, client management
Good knowledge of Client Services, Communication Planning, Project Management
Good communication skills in both Vietnamese and English, interpersonal and relationship building ability.
A strong understanding of the agency pitch process and the ability to coordinate multiple teams to create a winning proposal.
