Senior Bridge Engineer - BrSE Japanese N2+

We are looking for BrSE who will play a role as a communication bridge between the developing teams in Vietnam and Japan to grow our business and digitalization of the Construction industry dynamically. Working in a squad model alongside a product manager and small agile teams, you will be involved in all project phases, from design and development to testing, deployment, operation, and maintenance. This position provides a great opportunity to work with modern technologies and frameworks in a dynamic international environment.
■ Job Scope

Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
Ensure that all projects are delivered on time and within scope.
Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders.
Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short- term and long- term goals.
Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
Report and escalate to management as needed.
Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
Meet with the ANDPAD Japan team to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project.
Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
Ensure resource availability and allocation.
Delegate project tasks based on members‘ individual strengths, skill sets, and experience.

■ Development environment

Deploy/ Build: Docker, K8s, CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CircleCI, GitHub Actions.
Backend: Ruby on Rails, Go, AWS, Elasticsearch, MySQL, DynamoDB, Redis, Terraform (IaC), OIDC (Authentication).
Others: Datadog, Sentry, Bugsnag, Swagger, ZenHub, Figma.
Mobile App: Kotlin, Swift, Flutter.
Frontend: NextJS/ ReactJS, Typescript, Vue.js/ Nuxt.js.

Must- have:

Strong leadership, problem- solving, as well as teamwork skills with proactive and independent concentration.
Solid understanding of software development processes.
Empathy for Andpad‘s mission and values.
Familiarity with the development environment listed above.
Have working experience as a software engineer.
Expertise in quality assurance (QA) for web and mobile applications.
Good logical thinking and able to work under high pressure.
Proficiency in Japanese (N2 level or higher).
Over 3 years of working experience as BrSE.
Good English communication skills (both verbal and written).
Well- organized, creative, and capable of performing multiple tasks simultaneously.

Nice to have:

Able to grasp trends and research new technologies (Ruby on Rails, Go, Vue.js, ReactJS, Kotlin, Swift, Flutter).
Experience in the mentioned above “Development environment” is at least 3 years.
Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, CSM) is a plus.
Experience managing projects with tools like Jira, Figma, and ZenHub.
