We are looking for a Senior Fullstack Engineer with the focus on PHP to join the dynamic product team- a campervan hire and camping expert in Europe with over 70 stations across Europe and North America.

In this role, you will:

Design, develop, and maintain high- quality, scalable, and reusable code for our web applications.
Integrate with third- party systems and APIs to expand our platform&039;s capabilities.
Develop and maintain our backend services, primarily using PHP.
Champion clean code, testing, and documentation best practices.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to architectural discussions.
Build responsive and accessible user interfaces using modern frontend technologies.
Collaborate with cross- functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to deliver seamless end- to- end features.

Excellent problem- solving skills and a pragmatic approach to development.
Strong proficiency in PHP and experience with a modern PHP framework like Symfony or Laravel (Symfony is a plus).
A strong understanding of modular architecture, clean code principles, and testing methodologies.
Strong communication skills and fluency in English.
Experience with refactoring legacy code and improving system complexity.
A collaborative team player with an independent and ownership- driven work style.
Proficient in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL).
