About the role
Join our dynamic Data Science and AI team at the forefront of innovation! We&039;re in search of a passionate and motivated Senior AI/ML Engineer who will elevate our Generative AI technologies, particularly harnessing large language models to revolutionise our product offerings. Your expertise will be pivotal in refining our core product, leveraging our proprietary AI stack.
As an Senior AI/ML Engineer, your role will have:

Implement best practices in prompt engineering, model fine tuning and machine learning strategies to optimise model performance.
Systematically monitor and assess model performance in operational settings, using defined metrics and make iterative improvements.
Engage with clients to identify and understand their specific challenges, requirements, and goals related to model customisation and communicate effectively.
Lead the design and development of generative AI models, particularly those utilising large language datasets, ensuring the solutions drive value and align with the client&039;s goals.
Conduct ongoing research to stay updated on the latest in generative AI and large language model advancements.
Collaborate with both technical and customer teams, taking responsibility for integrating the model into applications and overseeing its deployment.
Convert complex language models and algorithms into robust, production- grade code.

Solid understanding of deep learning principles and neural network architectures.
A strong desire for continuous learning and a passion for driving innovation within the AI field.
5+ years of hands- on professional experience in Natural Language Processing (NLP), Generative AI, and advanced prompting techniques.
Ability to thrive in fast- paced settings, maintaining model accuracy and dependability.
Practical experience with major cloud services like AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure, with a focus on their AI/ML offerings.
Knowledgeable in a range of machine learning libraries and environments, including TensorFlow, PyTorch, OpenAI&039;s GPT, and AWS&039;s machine learning services.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related discipline.
Proficiency in programming with Python.
Excellent skills in explaining complex AI/ML concepts to audiences without a technical background.
