Senior Accountant - Internal

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Reconcile accounts and resolve any discrepancies or errors;
Assist with the preparation of financial statements for audits and tax filings.
Process and record financial transactions, including journal entries and general ledger entries.
Maintain accurate and up- to- date financial records, including invoices, purchase orders, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank statements;
Report to Line Manager as required.
Provide guidance and support to junior bookkeeping staff, collaborate with crossfunctional teams to provide financial insights and support decision- making.
Prepare and analyze financial reports, such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Stay updated on accounting principles and regulations to ensure compliance.

REQUIREMENTS

At least 3- 5 years of working experience in bookkeeping, accounting roles or relevant
positions.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Organized and able to manage multiple tasks.
Be proactive in work, can do legal self- research.
Having knowledge with IFRS or GAAP, experience or familiar with financial reporting.
Have studied the subjects of the ACCA, CPA and ICAEW or relevant training programs.
Proficiency in accounting software (Experience with ERP software such as Xero, QuickBooks, SAP is plus) and Microsoft Excel.
