JOB PURPOSE /MỤC TIÊU CÔNG VIỆC:
The job holder is given the authority and responsibility of protecting the company’s guest’, employees and assets. The Chief of Security has immediate authority and influence over the work of all Security Officer in the section.
Key Responsibilities of Chief of Security:
Plans and organizes hotel security activities.
Plans and establishes a functional on the job training program for hotel security personnel. Evaluates the effectiveness of training by observations of work performance and written or oral examinations. Establishes and maintains a working relationship with local law enforcement agencies.
Recommends changes in hotel operating procedures and equipment to reflect better security or protective methods.
Establishes procedures and conducts special investigations and surveillance in areas such as internal and external thefts.
Liaises with local police on matters of gambling, theft and special security requirements for unusual events and functions.
A plan, schedules work loads and establishes performance standards. Plans and organizes procedures for expanded hotel security.
Liaises with department Heads on employee behavior and security measures.
Liaises with management on unusual security measures or events.
Inspects and evaluates hotel security activities to ensure compliance with security policies and procedures.
Prepares and submits a Security Program evaluation and compliance report to the hotel management.
Reviews reports from assistance chief of security
Directs administration and overall operation of the security department, in the protection of hotel property, guests and employees and their properties.
Develops a crisis management plan to address potentially violent events.
Establishes, coordinates and implements a Security Program for all offices, facilities, departments and functions, consistent with regulatory requirements and other sound business and security practices.
Keeps close watch on department payroll control.
Yêu cầu công việc
• Good interpersonal skills. Strong communication skills.
• Computer literate i.e. Microsoft word/Excel/PowerPoint.
• Experience 1- 2 years in a managerial capacity at Hospitality field.
• Good organizational and administration skills.
• Strong command of human resource management skills.
• Good command of English language.
