JOB OVERVIEW:A Chief Security directs security staffs to deliver a safe Guest and Member experience while coordinating with government and law enforcement and ensuring compliance with local safety legislation and emergency procedures
Customer relations
• Assist hotel guests whenever require.
• Anticipates guests&039; needs and takes them into consideration. Handles guests&039; requests for information and provides answers.
• Handles any customer objections, comments or complaints; provides a response as soon as possible while the guest is still at the hotel.
• Gives priority to guest relations, while taking care to respect administrative procedures
Professional techniques / Production
• Coordinate with Chief Engineer for control of lock and key system in the hotel.
• Provide customer a secure and safe environment combined with interaction with both guest and employees and being available for information and advice.
• To manage and control security camera system, preventing fire system. To coordinate with relative sections to train staff specialists in preventing and fighting fire inside working place.
• Implement safety and security training program and ensure effective dissemination of procedures and policies to all employees.
• Make schedule of weekly operation and coordinate the activities of the department.
• Fully aware fire emergency and typhoon procedures
Team management and cross- departmental responsibilities
• Helps train and develop other staff in the team.
• Assures the interface between all hotel departments and service providers if necessary.
Management and administration
• Respects procedures governing invoicing and cash operations
• May be asked to undertake administrative tasks as needed
Hygiene / Personal safety / Environment
• Knows and applies the hotel&039;s safety regulations (in case of fire etc)
• Ensures the safety of people and property
• Ensures that the workplace remains clean and tidy
