SAP PO Consultant

Documentation & Compliance: Create detailed technical documentation, ensure adherence to governance standards, and comply with security and regulatory requirements.
Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize integration scenarios for performance, error handling, and high availability.
Solution Design & Architecture: Design robust integration architectures using SAP PO for business processes, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability.
Technical Leadership: Lead a team of developers, provide technical guidance, and mentor junior consultants.
Development & Configuration: Develop and configure integration scenarios, including iFlows, mappings, adapters (e.g., SOAP, REST, IDOC, RFC, SFTP, JDBC), and BPM/BRM processes.
System Integration: Integrate SAP systems (e.g., ECC, S/4HANA) with non- SAP systems, cloud applications, and third- party services using SAP PO/PI.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with business analysts, functional consultants, and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Innovation & Upgrades: Stay updated on SAP PO/PI advancements, recommend upgrades, and implement best practices for modern integration patterns (e.g., cloud integration, API management).
Troubleshooting & Support: Resolve complex integration issues, perform root cause analysis, and ensure minimal downtime in production environments.

Experience
5+ years of experience in SAP PI/PO development and architecture.
Proven track record of end- to- end implementation of SAP PO projects (at least 3- 4 full lifecycle implementations).
Hands- on experience with SAP PI/PO versions (7.3, 7.4, 7.5) and components like Enterprise Services Repository (ESR), Integration Builder, and Configuration & Monitoring.
Technical Skills
Familiarity with related technologies: SAP ABAP, Java, XML, XSD, WSDL, JSON, and API management.
Experience with SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) is a plus.
Strong knowledge of SAP NetWeaver, BPM (Business Process Management), and BRM (Business Rules Management).
Proficiency in integration patterns, such as A2A (Application- to- Application) and B2B (Business- to- Business).
Expertise in developing and configuring iFlows, mappings (Graphical, Java, XSLT), and adapters (e.g., IDOC, RFC, SOAP, REST, SFTP, JMS).
Understanding of security protocols (e.g., SSL, OAuth, SFTP) and message encryption.

Leadership and mentoring abilities to guide junior team members.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with cross- functional teams and stakeholders.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
Education
SAP PO/PI certification (e.g., C_PO_75, C_CPI_14) is highly desirable.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Additional Desirable Skills
Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., CI/CD pipelines, Git) for integration development.
Experience with SAP S/4HANA integration and migration projects.
Knowledge of other SAP modules (e.g., SD, MM, FI) for better business process understanding.
Exposure to non- SAP integration platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Dell Boomi) is a plus.
