SAP Basis Consultant

Conduct daily SAP system administration tasks, including comprehensive monitoring, operational support, and prompt incident and service request resolution.
Oversee database management functions such as monitoring space usage, backups, logs, and alerts for HANA, MSSQL, Oracle, or ASE, depending on the system landscape.
Ensure stable, secure, and reliable performance of SAP systems (S/4HANA/ECC) in alignment with organizational and client requirements.
Contribute to ongoing system maintenance, change management activities, and service enhancement initiatives across SAP environments.
Participate in high availability/disaster recovery testing and execute failover procedures as required.
Provide support for SAP systems deployed on Azure, AWS, and GCP platforms.
Carry out operating system- level monitoring (Linux/Windows), including checks of storage, CPU, memory, and filesystems.
Perform routine database performance assessments and backup/restore operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage SAP Private Cloud Edition incidents and requests
Configure system parameters; apply SAP Notes
Ensure system availability, performance, and security
Administer users, clients, and transports
Review EWA reports

Experienced in SAP monitoring, operating system fundamentals, and troubleshooting.
Familiarity with SAP Cloud Platform, SAP BTP, Cloud Connector, and Web Dispatcher.
Proficient in SAP systems, including SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, SAP HANA Database, and SAP Fiori.
Experience with SAP PCE is an advantage.
Experience working with Cloud Platforms such as Azure and AWS.
Committed to knowledge sharing and collaboration with team members.
Skilled in kernel upgrades, SPS updates, SUM operations, and system copies.
2 to 4+ years of experience in SAP Basis.
