SAP ABAP Technical Consultant

Integrate and extend SAP standard applications using BTP services (e.g., CAP, RAP, SAP Cloud Application Programming Model).
Stay up to date with SAP innovations, especially around ABAP RESTful Programming Model (RAP) and clean core principles.
Implement OData services, CDS Views, and annotations for Fiori/UI5 consumption.
Develop and enhance Fiori/UI5 applications using SAP Web IDE or BAS.
Collaborate with functional consultants, UI/UX designers, and stakeholders to deliver modern SAP user experiences.
Leverage BTP services (e.g., Workflow, Business Rules, Mobile Services, API Management) to extend and integrate SAP applications.
Design, develop, and maintain high- quality ABAP code for SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA systems.
Perform code reviews, troubleshoot performance issues, and apply best practices.
Participate in full lifecycle SAP projects: requirements gathering, technical design, development,testing, and deployment.

5+ years of professional experience in SAP ABAP development.
Familiarity with DevOps tools (Git, Jenkins), CI/CD in SAP environments.
Solid understanding of SAP security and performance optimization.
Hands- on experience with SAP BTP (Cloud Foundry, CAP, RAP, etc.).
Proficient with CDS Views, AMDP, and ABAP RESTful Programming Model.
Strong experience in SAP Fiori/UI5 application development and OData services.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Deep understanding of ABAP Objects, ALV, BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits, Enhancements, and IDOCs.
Preferred Qualifications
SAP Certification(s) in ABAP, Fiori, or BTP.
Experience with S/4HANA greenfield or brownfield implementations.
Knowledge of SAP Integration Suite, Event Mesh, and/or SAP Mobile Services.
Exposure to agile methodologies and SAP Activate framework.
