Deciding on all technical specifications for the garment including the construction and operation sequence, and the machine, attachment and work methods, so as to meet the customer’s expectations by taking all practical considerations into account.4. Controlling department over roll cost specially over time.5. Coordinating and leading all meetings, following- up on all pre- production activities to proactively identify and solve all technical and operational issues related to new products, whilst ensuring that operations in bulk production flow smoothly, taking initiative for the process flow from the point of product development to the pilot run6. Working closely with the Division manager and the production manager on order inquiries, assessing the do- ability of the product, advising on resource requirements (such as machines, attachments and skills) and providing feedback to the merchandisers on order acceptance7. Developing the base size patterns for the products and advising the team on grading, so as to develop size- wise pattern sets required for subsequent processes8. Analyzing material and trimming consumption; cutting- ratios to provide consumption information for orders.9. Following- up the delivery of the sample materials with the merchants, so as to facilitate the timely preparation of samples.10. Supervising the preparation of markers in the cutting process, and ensuring that all fabric is utilized at its optimum.11. Providing technical advice (sewing techniques, critical quality points etc.) to relevant staff and resolving critical day to day operational and technical issues in coordination with the production teams to facilitate the smooth transition of the production process.12.
