New Business Development (0→1)
Our company is a manufacturer and distributor of wood coatings.
In order to expand our business, we are looking for a salesperson who can develop new business.
- Independently manage the entire process: target industry selection, hypothesis formulation, market research → list creation → appointment scheduling → site visits → proposal delivery → order acquisition
- Understand competitors, price points, required specifications, and decision- making processes
Consultative Sales (Problem Solving)
- Planning trials (evaluation criteria, schedule, pass/fail standards) and following up on results
- Proposing specifications (product selection, coating conditions, process improvements, aligning quality standards)
- Handling quotations/terms negotiations, contracts, and orders
- Conduct customer site interviews (processes/equipment/materials/environment/defect conditions)
Deepening Existing Customer Relationships (1→10)
- Improve key account retention rates, expand adopted items/usage volume
- Horizontal expansion within customers (other plants/lines/product groups)
Internal Collaboration (Bridge with the Field)
- Collaborate with plants/engineering/quality/production to drive prototyping, improvements, and delivery schedule adjustments
- Initial claim response ~ hypothesis on causes and arrangements for recurrence prevention (managed by field personnel)
(For Manager Candidates)
- Design sales KPIs, manage deals (pipeline/gates), standardize sales processes
- Develop team members (proposal templates, interview design, sales meeting reviews)
The other tasks assigned by the Japanese manager.
Yêu cầu công việc
- Ability to think from the customer&039;s perspective, articulate challenges, and translate them into proposals
- Experience independently conducting market research and new business development (industry agnostic, B2B preferred)
- Basic PC skills (Excel/PowerPoint: quotations, proposal materials, simple analysis)
- Having more than 5 years of BtoB sales experience for foreign companies.
- Comfortable with customer visits and on- site negotiations, with communication skills to engage stakeholders
