JOB BRIEF:
We are looking for Ruby Developers to join our engineering team. You will be responsible for building APIs, your primary focus will be the development of all server- side logic, definition, and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front- end. You will also be responsible for integrating the front- end elements built by your co- workers into the application. Therefore, a basic understanding of front- end technologies is necessary as well.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Follow industry best practices.
Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality.
Develop and deploy new features to facilitate related procedures and tools if necessary.
Integration of user- facing elements developed by front- end developers with server side logic.
Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Ruby code.
Produce detailed specifications.
Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle.
YOU HAVE:
Proven 3+ years of work experience as a web developer.
Experiences in:
Excellent knowledge of back- end web development, especially in the Ruby on Rails framework.
Experience in SQL/NoSQL databases and their declarative query languages
Familiarity with front- end technologies such as Webpack/Webpacker, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3. Having experience with ReactJS/VueJS/AngularJS is a plus.
Good knowledge in Restful API development.
Good knowledge of Design patterns
Experience working with testing libraries like Rspec.
Nice to have:
Experience with multiple database types such as Redis, MongoDB, ElasticSearch, etc.
Good knowledge working with system or working CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Docker
Have knowledge in Micro service architecture.
Experience working with common third- party APIs (LINE, Stripe … ) is a plus
Able to apply good security practices
Experience with some services of aws, GCP, and azure ..
