Revenue Analyst

Prepares short and long- term forecasts.
To assist in daily inventory management and rate loading.
To prepare data analysis and reporting
To assist in providing the hotel team with external market intelligence.
Ensures that all rates, packages, eChannel and hotel sales strategy information is built in the hotel’s inventory systems.
Compiles and communicates all documents, reports and presentation for required ownership, hotel and leadership reporting (daily, monthly, quarterly) and Annual Budget discussions.
To assist in the preparation of all required reports for the overall revenue management function of the hotel.
Maximize revenue potential and ensure proactive and accurate maintenance and management of all systems and not limited to: Opera/PMS/Booking Engines/Channel Manager/Ideas, and OTA’s
Assist for preparation of forecasts (budgets and projections) and critiques of sales strategy effectiveness
Prepares revenue and profit opportunity analysis
Support hotel&039;s yield efforts, via analysis and reporting that ensure that all segments and distribution channels are mined for revenue opportunities based on budget, forecast, pace and market demand.
Responsible for the analysis of revenue, profit, and demand associated with the participating hotels’ rooms, casino and resort yield

Relevant Revenue Management / Front Office / Reservations / Sales & Marketing hospitality experience in large scale hotels desirable.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to collect, analyse and interpret revenue performance data
Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated maturity.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Hotel Management or related field. Familiarization with hotel revenue management concepts and tools preferred.
Extensive proficiency in Opera, Vision, Power BI, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint required and ability to manipulate data essential
Ability to operate in a team environment.
Attention to detail required.
Demonstrated aptitude for problem solving and problem identification.
Must effectively manage and adhere to strict daily/weekly/monthly deadlines.
