R&D Microbiology Supervisor

- Prepare literature, design research plans, work with microorganisms, perform experiments in lab, pilot, and industrial scale for cosmetic application. Analyze data, result, and writing report to meet project schedules and microbial research goals.
- Ensure and maintain laboratory equipment and microorganism collection under good conditions.
- Design and present presentation for progress- reports.
- Participate and support formulation development related to cosmetic design to ensure microbiological cosmetic safety under the direction of senior Manager.
- Collaborate with microbial and biotech experts to lead research microbial projects on application of technology in the production of cosmetic products.
- Interact efficiently with Planning/ Quality Assurance team/Production team for analyzing and solving problem related to cosmetic quality control.
- Training team members for updating technologies and skills to build micro/biotech capabilities in R&D.

- Speaking and writing English fluently.
- Must have microbial experience in a laboratory setting.
- Experience of relevant in Tissue culture skin cells laboratory is an advantage.
- Ideally postgraduate degrees in Cosmetic Science/Technology with Microbiology or Biotechnology majors.
- Familiarity with technical laboratory tasks.
- Show abilities to conduct microbiology/biotechnology research. Strong research publication in cosmetic and pharmaceutical science is an advantage.
- Strong background in microbiology, especially microbials isolated from cosmetic products.
- Minimum 5 years of experience of relevant in a research academic environment. QA and Laboratory experience in cosmetic, pharmaceutical production and laboratory environment is an advantage.
