JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Monitors and enforces all process procedures in the assigned factory to ensure SKX quality and specifications are being met, including:
• Ensures first pairs are sent to LA on time, meet expectations, and approvals of materials from approved suppliers are documented with proper testing reports.
• Actively participates in planning, quality, and die test meetings with factory staff and Sr. Production Manager.
• Follows the total quality process from beginning of production through to shipping, including on- time performance.
• Submits accurate repack and final inspection data to Pivot 88.
• Ensures compliance with SKX Policies and Procedures within the factory.
• Identifies production issues promptly and elevates in time.
• Conducts final inspections of finished goods and daily random inspections across all production areas.
• Follows through on all other required duties related to assistance with MQAA, CSR and/or mold control.
• Acts as a communication link between Sr. Production Manager, Commercialization, Mold Department, R&D, and Packaging when working with the factory.
• Communicates all production issues clearly through written reports and timely updates.
To have management experience and leadership skills including:
• Team Management & Development: Lead and coach junior QA/production staff to meet team objectives and improve overall performance.
• Cross Functional Coordination: Act as a key communication link between production, commercialization, R&D and packing teams to resolve issues quickly.
• Process Compliance: Enforce company QA procedures and ensure timely completion of reports, audits, and corrective actions.
• Decision Making and Execution Control: Makes timely independent decisions on quality and production matters within scope to meet shipment and quality goals.
• Factory Relationship and Influence: Builds strong working relationships with factory management to ensure compliance with SKX standards and drives continuous improvement in quality and efficiency.
