Quality Assistance/ Quality Control Inspector

Job Description
We are looking for a hands- on, open- minded person who has minimum 1 year experience in quality control of stoneware and/or furniture. We are looking for a candidate ready to work in an industrial environment, which can be dusty and hot. That person should have good communication skills, ability to learn about different materials and their properties, also able to work independently, does research, is precise, willing to grow and develop, manages priorities, can work under pressure, is well organized and looking for a long- term job.
Tasks:
- Ensure for each shipment the quality as per specification of the customer and in- house standards
- Generate test and inspection report on findings
- Make recommendations to improve operations
- Inspect, test, or measure materials or products
- Monitor final inspections before packaging
- Recommend packaging improvements
- Discuss inspection results with those responsible for products and packaging
- Make inbound control of goods supplied by third party to comply with the order
- Accept and reject finished items
- Check assembly of furniture products prior to shipment
- Remove all products and material that fail to meet specifications
- Check on quality of packaging
- Read blueprints and specifications
- Recommend adjustments to the assembly or production process
* Working time Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 16:00 pm.
Saturday – 8:00 am – 12:00 pm.
Salary calculated depending on abilities and experience.

Education and Training
- Reporting requirements
- Safety
- Good know about export requirements and packaging standards including drop test
- Blueprint reading
- Quality control techniques such as Six Sigma
- Preferably a high school diploma in engineering or material science
- Four years working experience
- Knowledge about ISO, GS, ANSI/BIFMA and other standards is a plus.
- American Society for Quality (ASQ) certifications for Certified Quality Inspector (CQI)
Personality and Interests
- Dexterity. You should be able to quickly remove sample parts or products during the manufacturing process
- Technical skills. You must understand blueprints, technical documents, and manuals, ensuring that products and parts meet quality standards.
- Mechanical skills. You must be able to use specialized tools and machinery when testing products
- Physical stamina. You must be able to stand for long periods on the job and be willing to travel to our various production sides
- Math skills. You should have knowledge of basic math and computer skills are important because measuring, calibrating, and calculating specifications are major parts of quality control testing
- Physical strength. You will need to lift heavy objects, so you should be in good physical condition.
- Quality control inspectors should have an interest in the Building, Thinking, and Organizing interest areas, in reference to the Holland Code framework.
