MISSION OF THE ROLE
The Senior QA–QC Specialist is responsible for ensuring that samples, raw materials, production processes, and final goods consistently meet our quality standards and buyers&039; requirements.
This role requires strong technical skills, excellent communication with factories, and the ability to identify risks and provide solutions throughout the production lifecycle.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Quality Planning & Standardization
• Implement and continuously improve the company’s QA–QC procedures and inspection standards.
• Define quality manual, checkpoints, risk assessments, and preventive actions for each new style, new customers.
• Audit & evaluate factory capabilities and ensure they follow FPD standards for outerwear, sweaters, and sportswear, etc.
• Review technical packs, construction details, BOMs, and measurement charts before production.
Sample Quality Management
• Ensure samples submitted to buyers are compliant, clean, and approved on time.
• Ensure fitting accuracy: measurements, construction, techniques, finishing, trims, fabric performance.
• Prepare clear comments and communicate corrections to merchandising and factories.
• Check all sample stages (Proto, SMS, PP, Fit, Size Set, TOP, SHIPMENT).
Production Monitoring & Factory Follow- Up
• Track manufacturing timelines and ensure factories meet delivery schedules.
• Follow daily production quality performance and report issues to HQ.
• Monitor cutting, sewing, finishing, pressing, packing, and labeling processes.
• Validate raw materials: fabrics, knitting panels, trims, accessories, prints, washing results, color fastness.
• Conduct remote/onsite PPS meeting, inline, mid- line, pre- final, and final inspections according to AQL standards (BOTH VIETNAM & CHINA FACTORY)
Problem- Solving & Root Cause Analysis
• Identify defects, technical weaknesses, and production risks early.
• Work directly with customer when issue arise.
• Ensure quality improvements are sustainable and documented.
• Work with factories to implement corrective and preventive actions (CAP).
• Lead technical meetings with production managers when issues arise.
Reporting & Documentation
• Review and validate all reports (samples, inline & final inspection report).
• Maintain accurate records of inspection results, deviations, and corrective actions.
• Conducted remote quality control and prepared reports based on data from the Shanghai office.
• Prepare daily/weekly QA–QC reports with photos, measurements, and comments.
• Provide quality dashboards to management (defects, factory performance, claims).
Communication & Coordination
• Attend fittings and technical reviews with buyers when required.
• Represent the technical quality voice within the company.
• Provide training to factory QA/QC teams when needed (stitching standards, bonding, adhesives, down filling, knit handling, etc.).
• Work closely with Merchandisers, Technical Designers, and Production teams.
Compliance & Ethical Standards
• Support audits for quality, safety, and production compliance.
• Ensure factories comply with company policies and relevant industry standards.
