QA Automation Lead

Are you ready to lead the next evolution of Quality Assurance in digital banking?
We’re hiring a QA Automation Lead who will own the automation testing strategy, drive shift- left testing practices, and embed quality deeply into every stage of our SDLC.
This is a key leadership role where you will guide our teams toward continuous testing, scalable automation, and measurable quality—all to support reliable, secure, and delightful banking experiences.

Define and lead the end- to- end QA automation roadmap.
Drive test data strategy and environment readiness for automated runs.
Select and scale modern test frameworks for mobile, web, API, and microservices.
Embed automated testing in CI/CD pipelines (AWS Pipeline, Jenkins).

Advocate for quality engineering from design to production.
Collaborate with DevOps(Pipeline) Team to enable parallel test execution and fast feedback loops.
Introduce shift- left testing and coach and driving feature teams on writing reliable integration tests, component test and API and E2E Test.

Review failures to root- cause issues and close quality gaps upstream.
Provide actionable insights using tools like XRAY, TestRail, or custom dashboards.
Establish test coverage, pass rate, defect leakage KPIs, and trend dashboards.

Pair testing sessions, and QA guilds with engineering team and QA Team to uplift skills and practices.
Lead and coaching a growing automation QA team across Portfolio.
Provide clear direction, feedback, and career guidance for QA Team.

Lead initiatives that improve release confidence, cycle time, and regression resilience.
Ensure automation efforts scale across portfolio and platforms (iOS, Android, Web, Backend..).
Work closely with Engineering, Product, and Security to align on quality objectives.

Exposure to Microservices, Event- driven architecture, and Serverless functions.
Familiar with BDD/TDD, service virtualization, and mocking/stubbing tools.
Solid coding skills in JavaScript, Java, Python, or similar for writing test scripts.
Experience with frameworks like Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, Appium, or REST Assured.
5+ years in test automation with 2+ years in a lead role.

Strong advocate of test automation as a product enabler, not a QA function.
Experience in high- regulation environments (banking, fintech, payments preferred).
Proven ability to lead through influence, clarity, and accountability.

Passionate communicator, motivator, and hands- on leader.
Comfortable challenging the status quo and introducing best practices.
Curious, analytical, and always optimizing the test strategy for better coverage and speed.
