Description
Gravity Water is a US- based 501(c)3 Non- Profit Organization focusing on turning rain into safe water for schools in need. Gravity Water is hiring for a “Southern Vietnam Project Manager” to join Gravity Water’s team in Vietnam as the primary individual responsible for overseeing the Organization’s program services in the Southern Region (HCMC and Mekong River Delta). The Southern Vietnam Project Manager reports to the National Director of Vietnam and will be part of a supportive and professional team of passionate individuals dedicated to building water security and climate resilience for communities in need.
The Southern Vietnam Project Manager position at Gravity Water entails comprehensive oversight and management of our regional program. This role involves engaging with local stakeholders and partners, conducting project surveying and site assessments at schools, ensuring adherence to project implementation standards, and completing all necessary project reporting and documentation.
Responsibilities
Essential job responsibilities and duties may include but are not limited to:
Collaborate effectively with local stakeholders and partners to ensure alignment with project objectives.
Conduct thorough project surveying and site assessments at educational institutions within the southern region of Vietnam.
Prepare detailed project reports and documentation as required by internal and external stakeholders.
Maintain vigilant oversight of project implementation, ensuring compliance with internal standards and protocols.
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
Proven ability in budget management and financial oversight
Fluent in English
Reside in, or willing to relocate to, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
Passion for building water security and climate resilience for communities in need
Proficiency in spreadsheet applications and task management tools
2+ years in project management
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor&039;s degree or higher in a relevant field
Strong leadership skills, with a track record of effectively guiding project teams
