Responsibilities:
Highlight expected overruns and manage shortfalls.
Ensure the project stays within the approved budget.
Identify risks, determine appropriate responses, and implement risk responses in collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
Implement decisions as per approved mandates.
For projects in the development phase, ensure an optimized technical concept, a well- founded cost estimate, and a realistic schedule through regular cooperation.
Ensure project delivery/implementation aligns with agreed- upon quality standards.
Facilitate a seamless handover of the project from the development phase to the implementation phase.
Manage onshore wind renewable energy project delivery from late- stage development through implementation.
Facilitate the transfer of acquired knowledge within the project.
Overall accountability for creating, maintaining, and monitoring an activity- based schedule.
Take overall accountability for project risk management.
Continuously exchange procedures, experience with subcontractors, and drafting of contractual and cooperation agreements.
Provide regular and complete reporting on the project&039;s progress to the Steering Committee and other relevant stakeholders, both internal and external.
Elevate decisions to the appropriate governance level when needed.
Ensure a smooth flow of information and coordinated work progress.
Hold management responsibility for all internal and external functions involved in the project.
Requirements:
Minimum of 10 years of project management experience, within the power industry.
University Degree in Engineering; other field + extraordinary, proven project management experience.
Additional Qualifications/Certificates:
PMI Certification or equivalent.

Fluency in Vietnamese and English
Track record of managing complex technical projects through the entire life cycle.
Background in engineering consulting or a project management role of complex technical projects with projects of >$100M volume.
Experience in working with international companies and in projects financed with international lenders.
Successfully managed large- scale implementation projects in a project manager role in the energy sector.
Bonus:
Experience in managing the development and implementation of renewable energy projects in Vietnam as a project manager.
Experience as a renewable energy project management consultant.
