Project Coordinator (Environmental Projects)

Under general supervision, this position oversees the execution and completion of environmental projects for both existing and emerging sustainability services. Responsibilities include analyzing project specifications (e.g., time, audits, testing, and sample requirements) by evaluating client input, supplemental data, and product design. The role also contributes to the development of new and existing programs.
Job Responsibilities:
Collaborate with internal teams and clients to ensure consistent project methodology, including product evaluation, documentation review, test coordination, and results analysis.
Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Adhere to Underwriters Laboratories’ Code of Conduct and security protocols.
Liaise with Commercial Teams, Subject Matter Experts, certification bodies, and R&D teams as needed.
Review and approve product changes in the customer portal.
Maintain clear, frequent communication with clients to address technical issues, explain UL Product Sustainability procedures, and negotiate project plans.
Manage projects from initiation to completion, coordinating with sales, clients, and labs while ensuring milestones and client expectations are met or exceeded.
Proactively resolve client concerns to minimize delays and ensure timely project delivery.
Provide regular project updates to clients and sales executives through reports and direct communication.
Oversee multi- site projects for single clients.
Serve as the primary client liaison, partnering with sales to oversee end- to- end project execution.
Maintain project templates to support program development and implementation.
Delivering exceptional customer service by exceeding expectations in turnaround time, technical accuracy, and overall experience.
