Production Supervisor

- Industry: Die Casting & CNC Machining
- Department: Operation
- Reporting Officer: Deputy General Manager
To oversee and coordinate all production activities within the Die Casting and CNC sections to ensure production targets are achieved in terms of Output, Quality, Lead time, and Safety.
Production Planning & Execution
- Review the Production Pan and check the status of Raw materials and Headcount
- Optimize and balance production lines to ensure a smoooth workflow and maximize productivity.
Assign tasks and workstations to team leaders and operators effectively based on the daily schedule.
Quality Control & Troubleshooting
- Monitor production quality and identify defective products (NG).
- Investigate root causes of defects (using tools like 5- Whys or Fishbone diagrams).
- Propose and implement short- term corrective actions and long- term preventive measures to improve yield rates
Resource & Manpower Management
- Monitor labor discipline, attendance, and adherence to company policies
- Maintain 5S standards and ensure high levels of Occupational Health and Safety (HSE) on the shop floor.
- Manage and approve overtime (OT) schedules based on material availability and urgent delivery requirements.
Reporting & Communication
- Prepare quick/daily reports regarding production progress, bottlenecks, and any issues impacting output or delivery.
- Facilitate daily shift handover meetings to ensure all technical and operational issues are communicated clearly to the next shift.
Training & Development
- Coach and mentor workers on technical skills related to Die Casting and CNC machining to improve overall team competence.
- Conduct On- the- Job Training (OJT) for new workers regarding Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Education:
- College or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related technical field..
Work Experience:
- At least 5 years of experience in a supervisory role within Die Casting or CNC Machining environments.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Ability to work under high pressure and handle shifts if required.
- Solid knowledge of die casting processes (Aluminum/Zinc) or CNC machining.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Basic proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and ERP/MES/U9 software.
- Excellent problem- solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
Language:
- Good command of English.
