Production Manager

Plan, organize manpower, and system requirements to meet buyer&039;s standards and specifications.
Evaluate workers and staff performance.
Meet output and KPI targets agreed upon with the Factory Director.
Ensure the health and safety of workers and implement Health and Safety guidelines.
Allocate human and material resources efficiently.
Train and develop the workforce to enhance efficiency.
Ensure on- time production and the required product quality.
Liaise with various departments to streamline production.
Monitor material utilization for optimal usage.
Collaborate with Industrial Engineers (IE) to plan line layouts based on the type of products.
Monitor the production process and adjust schedules in coordination with the Production Planning and Sample Room team.
Ensure the smooth and efficient operation of production management.
Control the quantity of finished garments.
Manage unexpected situations and provide effective solutions.
Optimize workforce utilization.
Maintain cost- effective production.
Oversee the production process to ensure the efficiency of production lines.
Select and maintain production equipment.
Continuously improve operational activities.
Collaborate with other managers to implement company policies and goals.

Job Requirements:

Manpower management and development skills.
Minimum of 8 years&039; experience in Apparel Manufacturing, with at least 2 years of experience as a Production Lead.
Strong technical understanding of the garment production process and line management.
Good understanding of written English; spoken English is an advantage.
Team player with a results- oriented mindset.
Desire for continuous improvement and problem- solving.
Computer literate.
Ability to manage multiple clothing styles on a production line simultaneously, especially down jackets or seam- seal jackets.
Excellent leadership, time management, and organizational skills.
