Product Development Leader (Garment)

Objective: Coordinate with Motives’ global design team to deliver a variety of new developments to our customers, ensure they can match customer needs and get a high adoption rate.
Job description:
• Catch up international market trends & their relations on our product lines then coordinate with design team to create seasonal collections and offer innovation, newness to customers.
• Take the lead in meetings with cross- functional teams (including design, production, technical team) to ensure developments align with market trends and meet customer needs.

Actively participate in sourcing activities to select suitable materials to match key trends collection and cost targets.
Collaborate closely with the cross- functional team in engineering cost- effective products and risk analysis to ensure that the products developed are production feasible.

• Organize the detailed records of all necessary documents through the development process to hand over to the production team when development becomes order.

• Well- organized, systematic, detail- oriented, strong analytical and problem- solving skills
• Excellent communication and ability to perform good presentation.
• Proficiency in English is a must to work with overseas teams.
• At least 7 years of apparel product development experience (sourcing, development, costing) for international brands, especially in casual products.
• Basic knowledge of materials & technical designs.
